Honestly I liked him because of the Card game. Growlithe was my first Pokemon card ever (I still have it) and Arcanine was the best card anybody had (until assholes started pulling out Charizards and Chanseys and stuff from Boosters). Hes not that great in the game, but hes a TIGER DOG, thats somehow LEGENDARY without being a LEGENDARY. Plus look at that smile, he knows whats up
